Tahlequah vs Sand Springs was an aggressive game Friday night. Alexsyah Goudeau, 2022 PG for Tahlequah was up to the task and responded by playing team ball and executing big plays when her team needed it. She finished the game with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Goudeau can play with the best of them. She has everything you want in a point guard: basketball IQ, heart, and confidence.
Sand Springs struggled to keep up. Tahlequah went into halftime with a 31-26 lead. As the game came down the stretch Sand Springs trailed by six points.
The momentum quickly shifted back to Tahlequah. They played excellent defense and leaned on its shooters to bring it home. Tahlequah kept firing away from the three and before you knew it the game was over.
Says Goudeau, “As a team, we came out ready to play defense, that was one of our main key things. Basically, that kept the momentum going.”
